A padel court is a piece of working infrastructure, not a static asset. Without an active maintenance routine the surface degrades, the glass loses clarity, the lighting fails, and the playing experience drops in a way players notice well before the operator does.
Daily and weekly
- Sweep loose debris off the court.
- Check glass for cracks or damaged fixings.
- Spot-check lighting for failed lamps or driver issues.
- Brush the turf to redistribute infill and lift the fibres.
Monthly and quarterly
- Top up sand infill where the playing line shows wear.
- Clean glass thoroughly inside and out.
- Inspect the structure for loose bolts and corrosion.
- Check drainage paths around the court for blockage.
Annual
A full structural inspection, electrical safety check on the lighting, deep clean of glass and frame, and a decision on whether the surface needs partial or full replacement. Surfaces typically last several years with active maintenance and noticeably less without it.
